The Publicis challenge

Publicis LMA, the agency specialised in the B2B issues of Publicis Communications France, addresses the marketing and communication challenges of industrial and services companies using Open Transformation, a collaborative and empathic method. By tackling all the business issues of its clients, Publicis LMA creates influential brands and aims to ensure their sustainable growth. This new Publicis LMA employs 85 people and recorded turnover of 14.7 million euros in 2017. Their new client, a world leader in aeronautics, asked them to create a new graphic charter. Publicis decided to entrust their documents to professional translators.

Choosing a responsive and trust-worthy language partner

Publicis is synonymous with quality. By turning to a translation partner, Publicis entrusts the international reputation of its client to the agency. Such responsibility requires an excellent level of service from the translation company, including good communication skills and quick response times. It is important to select the right agency in order to guarantee exceptional results within a short timeframe.

Working with expert translators with extensive experience in graphic charters

Finding an agency to translate French into English is relatively simple. However, many agencies don’t realise how particular this type of translation project can be and the specialised terminology it requires. Publicis had to find a language partner with access to translators well versed in graphic charters to deliver a high-quality product.

"It was the best solution given their response times and transparent pricing policy. I knew someone at Acolad, and I was familiar with how they worked."

Preparing the foundation

Working for a client through the intermediary of a communication agency requires custom organisation. One month ahead, the direct contact from Acolad was in touch with the Key Account Manager from Publicis LMA to assess the workload. The production team was therefore able to launch the translation work as soon as they had received the content validated by the client.

"The organisation and complete briefing put in place by the Acolad team saved time and helped the project move forward more quickly."

Selecting the best translator profiles

The Acolad team had carefully selected two translators specialised in graphic charters. They were tested before the project was launched. This stage makes it possible to have the best resources available to meet short deadlines as soon as the content has been validated.

Monitoring the project

The Acolad team monitored the progress of the project very closely: from the initial request to its delivery. Publicis was given an InDesign file so that the team in charge of layout could carefully optimise the graphic creation before it was finally delivered to the client.

Publicis LMA's perspective

"The project went smoothly. Thanks to the fast response times of the teams at Acolad, we were able to find the right solution and anticipate any delays. The translations were excellent. The client was happy with their new graphic charters. The document will be available on their intranet and provided to their external service providers."
