Acolad joins the Swedish Childhood Cancer Fund (Barncancerfonden’s) as bronze sponsor of their initiative “Spin of Hope” to raise funds for childhood cancer research in Sweden.
Acolad joined the” Spin of Hope” charity run as a bronze sponsor last March 25th, an initiative organized by the Swedish Childhood Cancer Fund (Barncancerfonden’s), a non-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness and funding for pediatric cancer research in Sweden.
The run is a 12-hour spinning marathon that takes place in various locations across Sweden and is open to individuals, families, and teams of all ages and fitness levels. Participants can choose to run, walk, or jog. All proceeds from the event will go towards funding research, supporting families, and raising awareness.
" It felt very special for us to contribute together to such a worthy cause. You could certainly feel the importance of the event as you stepped into the spinning room and I am so grateful Acolad could contribute.," said Jessika Andersson, Director & Sales Account Management. Cláudia Vidreiro, Corporate Communication, adds "Cancer is a devastating disease, and as a company, we feel a responsibility to give back to our community, and this is just one way we can make a difference."
In addition to participating in the run, Acolad is also encouraging other companies to join them in supporting this cause. "We are calling on our clients, partners, and other local companies to join us in this effort," said Cláudia Vidreiro, Corporate Communications Manager. "It’s a great opportunity to come together as a community. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of children and families affected by this disease."
