We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Tender Manager to oversee the procurement process for translation and interpreting services within the public sector. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in coordinating and managing the tendering process, ensuring compliance with regulations, and securing contracts with qualified vendors.


Responsibilities:

  • Monitor tenders announcements and publications on the relevant tendering platforms.
  • Prepare and manage tender documents, including invitations to tender, tender submission and contractual agreements.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to analyze requirements, define solutions, and identify unique selling points (USPs) to include in tender submissions.
  • Coordinate tender evaluation processes and review rounds.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and procedures throughout the tendering process.
  • Collect pricing proposal from responsible internal stakeholders to achieve optimal value for the public sector.
  • Maintain accurate records of tendering activities, including documentation and checklists.
  • Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders involved in the tendering process, including procurement officers, legal advisors, and project managers.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes affecting translation and interpreting services within the public sector.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, procurement, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in managing tenders, ideally for public sector or similar environments.
  • Strong understanding of procurement principles, regulations, and practices applicable to public sector organizations.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and compliance.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent Dutch and English language proficiency is mandatory.
