What is the Acolad Portal?

The Acolad Portal is a translation services procurement interface that enables customers to quickly and easily request quotations and manage projects.
Is the portal available in languages other than English?

Yes. The portal interface is available in English, French, German, Japanese, Italian, Dutch, Danish, Swedish, Finnish, Korean, Chinese Simplified, Chinese Traditional, Russian, Vietnamese and Thai.
How does the Acolad Portal ensure customer data is protected?

Acolad Portal ensures comprehensive customer data protection by employing SSL and AES-256 encryption for data in transit and data at rest. SSL certificates with SHA-2 and 2048-bit encryption guarantee secure connections, and all data moving between storage volumes and server instances is encrypted. Access to the portal requires a secure SSL connection, with non-SSL requests automatically redirected. To strengthen security further, users are compelled to change their passwords every 90 days, with strict complexity requirements ensuring a minimum of 8 characters, including uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and special characters.
How long has product been on market?

Our portal was launched in 2017 and has been through continuous improvements ever since as we continue working to enhance its features, security, and overall performance, dedicated to providing you with the best possible experience.
What file types are supported by Acolad Portal?

There are no restrictions on file types. There is a limitation of 2 GB per upload (size of all files combined in a single upload).
Why does the Portal have a timeout after 15 minutes of inactivity?

Our 15-minute inactivity timeout aligns with security standards recommended for applications processing potentially confidential information.
