We are currently looking for a Strategic Account Manager for our Public Sector team in the Netherlands. Reporting to the Sales Director, you manage relationships with our key institutional clients, develop revenue and ensure customer success.

A highly networked role, the position requires an ability to work with top managers across business units and locations as well as to interact with potential Public Sector customers to ensure a winning proposal and excellent customer relationships.

A true business partner, you are constantly seeking to improve the customer experience and to ensure the highest levele of service to our clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively identifying and assessing opportunities in the Public Sector Translation and Interpreting markets
  • Managing and renew existing contracts in an assigned portfolio of accounts and developing new revenue through cross-selling
  • Acting as a liaison between clients and operational and solutions teams to ensure excellence in meeting client requirements.
  • Keeping abreast of market developments, relevant technologies and competitor landscape
  • Ownership for client reporting and key performance metrics
  • Managing sales pipeline, ensure up-to-date and accurate records in eCRM (data quality)
Requirements:
  • University degree in a relevant area (business, marketing,...)
  • Minimum of 5 years proven experience in the Public Sector dealing with Procurement
  • Knowledge of similar domains (E.g., Services industry, language services…)
  • Self-starter, autonomy in identifying business opportunities; knowledge of Sales methodology and tools
  • Strong problem-solvieng and analytical skills
  • Excellent negotiation skills based on value selling
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Data and performance driven
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Fluent English and Dutch
