We are looking for a Translation Project Coordinator Trainee to join our global team!

The primary role of the Translation Project Coordinator Trainee is to assist Project Managers as needed, to support the smooth running of all language translation projects. As Translation Project Coordinator Trainee, you will ensure effective communication and project collaboration in order to meet and exceed client expectations. You will thrive in this position through your attention to detail and focus -nothing falls through the cracks on your watch. You will ensure information is flowing between all areas. You will have the opportunity to hone essential project management skills, giving you a great foundation for future growth.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the day-to-day management of translation orders according to customer requirements and Acolad standards.
  • Collaborate with Resource & Service Management.
  • Support process improvement and optimisation
  • Monitor the overall workflow processes and timelines, from receiving the order to the final delivery (translation, revision, review and other linguistic services).
  • Monitor of Service Delivery related KPIs, e.g. adherence to deadlines, vendor costs, in-house costs, productivity, volume per service and per language combination, number of complaints
Requirements:
  • Currently enrolled in a university level or equivalent qualification in the field of translation, interpreting or language/communication studies.
  • Strong communication skills (email, phone, presentations).
  • Excellent knowledge of English and French.
  • Good organisational skills.
  • Good analytical and planning skills.
  • Ability to work part of a local or virtual team.
