SUMMARY:

The Vendor Manager is responsible for overseeing and maintaining the company’s vendor relationships

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

You will be responsible for expanding the company’s network of freelance partners for the 3 core services Translation, Interpretation and Transcription.

You will drive resource strategies for the region and develop action plans to achieve identified needs – e.g. in terms of profiles, capacity, costs & quality.

You will guide our vendor partners along the full supply chain, from sourcing/recruiting over negotiating to onboarding and performance management.

You will advise account teams on linguistic profiles and team setup in accordance with client needs and quality requirements.

You will oversee quality problem analysis and consult on corrective actions and solutions.

You will drive linguistic improvement plans.

You will manage the assessment of vendors.

Requirements:
  • 2-5 years experience in Vendor Management/Procurement in the Translation/Localization industry.
  • Ability to build, maintain and grow relationships in a professional manner.
  • Experience with negotiations and pricing.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Able to work independently, multitask, and prioritize work.
  • Process-oriented and organized.
  • Reliable, committed to quality, and keen attention to detail.
  • Friendly, patient, and customer-oriented personality.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
  • Experience in project management or recruitment a plus.
