We are looking for a ✨Translation Project Manager✨ who speaks fluent German to be part of out team in Berlin.

As a Translation Project Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of customer translation orders according to customer requirements and Acolad standards.

You will be part of our Language Services Team and will work on deliveries for a portfolio of customers.


  • Day-to-day management of translation orders according to customer requirements and group standards.
  • Close collaboration with customers, account managers and translators/linguists.
  • Process improvement and linguistic quality optimisation.
  • Organisation and monitoring of overall workflow and timelines for translation, revision, review and other linguistic services.
  • Monitoring of Service Delivery related KPIs, e.g. adherence to deadlines, vendor costs, in-house costs, productivity, volume per service and per language combination, number of complaints
  • Client relationship management and ownership of customer satisfaction. Spoken and written communication to be carried out in German, representing Acolad to our customers.
Das erwarten wir:
  • University Degree in in the field of translation or language/communication studies or equivalent.
  • Excellent knowledge of German (minimum C1 level) and English required. Other languages are a plus.
  • 2 years experience in service/project management or in similar roles (preferably related to Language Services).
  • Experience of successfully managing customer relationships, including complaints.
  • Excellent communication skills. At ease working remotely (by phone, web meetings, etc.)
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and workload.
  • Familiarity with translation tools.
  • Autonomy, strong team spirit and proactive attitude.
  • Good knowledge of commonly used computer desktop applications and services.
